The Kenworth T900 Legend is the king of our fleet, with the gross combination mass (GCM) capacity of 163.5 tonnes.
Modelled on the legendary W-model and introduced in 1991, the T900 with its classic look and style is designed with the versatility to operate in almost any application, and tough enough to stand up to the harsh Australian conditions.

Our Kenworth T409 SAR has a standard 6 x 4 configuration, with a GCM capacity of 106 tonnes.
Kenworth’s T409 SAR has been developed as a flexible and aerodynamic solution for maximum-length on highway operation, ideal for general transport or tanker operations. The T409 SAR features power up to 600hp and has been specifically designed to provide maximum payload under Australian regulations.
Behind the wheel of the T409 SAR is where you will find team member, Jake.
The K200 is exceptionally productive, with leading application engineering, power and versatility – that’s why we have two of them operating on a day-to-day basis as part of our fleet.
Simply put, with the K200, we are able to haul bigger loads with greater ease and efficiency, whilst also providing comfort for our drivers with easy sleeper access and room to move.
Behind the wheels of the K200s is where you will find either Darryl or Matt.
With the GCM capacity of 97 tonnes, this truck is specifically used to handle the lighter loads requested by our clients.

Our Kenworth T659 has the versatility and power to operate in applications ranging from general freight to mining haulage, on or off the highway in single or multiple trailer configurations.
Supreme performance combined with comfort and safety makes the T659 one of the most versatile trucks on or off the road.
The distinctive sloping bonnet of the T659 gives excellent visibility and the drop front frame enables room for a large radiator providing exceptional cooling in the most arduous of conditions.
The Kenworth T359 8×4 is a specifically built tilt tray featuring twin steer axles.
Kenworth’s T359 is purpose-built to take on specific metro and inter-state applications with the productivity and attention to detail that we pride ourselves on at Carter Heavy Haulage.
The T359 model is versatile enough to accommodate a range of industry needs, with the GCM capacity of 50 tonnes and a carrying capacity of 13 tonnes.

Our 45ft drop deck with ramp attachment is the perfect addition to our fleet, enabling us to transport up to 22 tonnes of equipment to a range of destinations.
It delivers the versatility of moving general freight and multiple machinery movements within the one trailer.
Our O’Phee 45ft flattop extendable, which provides an extra 21.5 metres, enables us to transport long lengths of rail, timber, and overlength items whilst remaining compliant on Australian roads.
The flattop extendable has the capacity to hold up to 22 tonnes.
Our Drake 3x4 tri-axle deck widening low loader has the capacity to hold up to 27 tonnes and as an optional extra, when paired with a dolly can transport up to 32 tonnes.
Our tri-axle widening low loader is designed to widen to the width of the machines being transported to give maximum stability whilst having rear steer axles to increase manoeuvrability in limited access jobs or built up areas.
Our Drake 4x4 quad-axle deck widening low loader has the capacity to hold up to 35 tonnes and as an optional extra, when paired with a dolly can transport up to 48 tonnes.
Our quad-axle widening low loader is designed to widen to the width of the plant and equipment being transported to give maximum stability.
This low loader can widen in various increments to suit each load.
Our 4x8 float provides a range of options to suit a variety of industry needs. With the combinations specified below, we can transport up to 80 tonnes of equipment with the trucks in our fleet.
