Before establishing Carter Heavy Haulage alongside husband, Josh, Leonnie worked for 12 years in payroll/human resources at an engineering company based at Kooragang Island.

During this time Leonnie gained formal qualifications in business, whilst also playing an active role as the Return to Work Coordinator.

Leonnie’s knowledge of the transport industry has quickly developed over the years and now, Leonnie is the go-to for all your transport related enquiries in the business.

She has played an integral role in creating the  strong business foundations of Carter Heavy Haulage. In 2016, Leonnie guided the team to implement leading transport management software, which allowed Carter Heavy Haulage to expand the business and ensure quality assurance across all operations.

Leonnie oversees the running of the business to uphold the professional reputation that the company has gained.
